James has specialized his career in using the science of behavior to engineer the performance of clinical staff within large-scale ABA service providers. Using his background as both a clinician and an operator, he has worked to successfully scale and transform companies to meet the demands of both internal and external stakeholders. He has managed large teams at both the local and state market level and has worked internationally to disseminate ABA within internal markets.
James spent 5 years working for one of the largest ABA service providers in the country and was responsible for engineering several key performance initiatives, including the development of an agency-wide staff assessment system, a performance management dashboard for front-line clinicians, and following COVID-19, additional telehealth service platforms for Behavior Technicians. He was also responsible for creating a popular and scalable school transition program that added an average of 9 incremental hours per week per client across hundreds of clients, all while improving clinical performance by over 176%.
James earned his Master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and his Bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University and is a member of ABAI and the OBM Network.
